Sam Pratt, Principal

Sam has more than 20 years experience in Commercial Law.

He advises, negotiates and prepares documentation relating to the acquisition and disposal of property and leasing.

His experience also includes acting on the sale and purchase of businesses, contract preparation, reviews and negotiations in commercial transactions including franchising.

Sam has extensive experience in acting for a number of public, private and government landlord and tenant clients. He advises and assists in the preparation and review of agreements for lease, leases, letters of offer, extension, variation, assignment and surrender of lease documents including tenant default and termination procedures together with acting in relation to the sale and purchase of commercial property and businesses.

Anna Gardner, Senior Associate

Anna is a Commercial Lawyer with experience in property matters including business sales and acquisitions, retail and commercial leasing, residential conveyancing, property development and contract preparation and negotiation. She is also experienced in the preparation of Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardianships and the administration of Estates.

Anna joined Cormiston Legal in September 2018 with over 15 years previous experience at  Launceston based law firms.

Kylie Grant, Legal Assistant

Kylie is a very experienced legal assistant, having worked in the legal industry for over 25 years mainly providing assistance in Conveyancing and Commercial transactions.

Kylie started her career at Cromptons Collection Service (now known as Tasmanian Collection Service) in 1989. Her duties included customer service, preparation and filing of court documents and debt collection.

In 1994 Kylie joined Archer Bushby assisting lawyers and partners in a variety of areas, with her main role as an assistant on conveyancing matters working closely with conveyancing clerks and commercial lawyers.
